Hello, I’m a public librarian in Canada and while I’m not an official zine librarian, I am the founder of Womxn Skateboard History archive, which includes a page of zines I started to digitize from the 1980s like Ladies Skateworld, Girls Who Grind, Equal Time, Gunk, and Push, Push, then Go! I thought your members might be interested, and hopefully I can join the event in August… it sounds awesome!
For those of us interested in staying in the dorms – what dates are available for us to stay? I am budgeting my trip and trying to determine what nights to stay in the dorms. Thank you!
Housing dates are Friday 8/2 (check in) through Sunday 8/4 (check out). NYU only allows attendees to stay during the active days of the conference, unfortunately. I can ask them if there’s flexibility as you aren’t the only one asking. I’ll get some additional details and post any updates to the wiki.
hi y’all…i know that convos are on discord but i cannot face yet another social media account rn.
are there any tech specs for the rooms we’ll be presenting in? assuming bc it’s NYU that we’ll be able to plug & play with some kind of projector apparatus? but don’t want to make assumptions…
thanks so much and look forward to seeing everyone in NYC!

In zine libraries, there is no official! We hope you can make it!

Hi Mandy,
NYU Libraries Tech Team has put together a document for our group to support tech specs.
Hope this helps clarify what will be available in the different presentation rooms.
